Admission Qualifications

  • Age Requirement: Minimum 18 years of age at the time of application.
  • Academic Qualifications: Grade 12 Certificate with passes in English and basic Mathematics (or equivalent).
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of participating in practical training sessions.
  • Commitment: Dedication to completing the duration of the enrolled professional or technical course.

Other Requirements (Post-Acceptance)

The following items are required once you have been accepted into the institute:

  • Tools: A hoe, and a garden rake or shovel.
  • PPE: A pair of work suit, gumboots, protective gloves, protective goggles, and a hard hat.
  • Stationery: A ream of paper and 10 hardcover books.
  • Health & Hygiene: A mosquito net and 1-liter disinfectant.
  • Personal Items: Enough clothes, toiletries, and other groceries.
